weekends pass faster than weeks

i'm pretty sure that this is why 'they' decided to make saturday and sunday the weekend instead of wednesday and thursday. they picked the days that pass the quickest to give us as time off. i feel conned!

Maybe because weekends are only 2/7ths as long as weeks? Even weekdays are two-and-a-half times longer than weekends. (2/7 x 2.5 = 5/7)
