I noticed that lots of people go missing during this time...so what did you do with your time this past weekend?

Lets see this past weekend was one of the BEST weekends of my life. I spent the weekend curling Des' toes  !!!

He is quite an awesome guy and patient to boot...took us almost an hour to make it from the airport to the hotel, damn traffic!

However we didn't spend the full five days in the hotel room...we went out Saturday night and seen a live band which was AWESOME, and I enjoyed myself so much that I even danced :nana: ! I showed him around my neck of the woods (a little bit)...spent a few hours on Monday at the pool and spa...and I've never laughed and been so happy in all my life, well until I had to drop him off at the airport on Tuesday

:nana: On the agenda this weekend...going to see Happy Feet with the kiddies :nana:

Ummmmm,

Made a post above before reading this one.

Did some fishing, did some body surfing and watched as my wife freaked out some fundies.

All in all a good time.

Sunday was about perfect for me. I went to the coast to watch the storms, we went and played on the beach.. saw a number of interesting things and got blown all over. Went to eat at Mo's, the traditional spot, and had a lot of clams, and then went back home and sang songs with my friends in front of a delightful fire. It was wonderful! It was som any things that reminded me of the best times when I was a child. The sea at night is just incredible. I remember sleeping on a boat as a child, seing the phosphorescence in our wake and being rocked to sleep to the sound of rain falling above. Its about as close to bliss as I can think of sometimes.

We spent most of Saturday working, running errands and doing laundry. Went to see Santa Clause 3 Saturday night. Sunday, we went to see my parents in the morning and I spent the afternoon and evening writing. My SO spent Sunday afternoon watching football, watching Nascar (Go Jimmie!) and napping.

This weekend I have my daughter. She and I will be taking our cousins to see Santa Clause 3, going to the Library, going Christmas shopping and doing homework. Sunday evening will be spent just being with my SO and writing if the mood strikes me.

:D Just watched Cars with my kiddies...if you've never seen it WATCH IT...ROTFLMFAO...it was GREAT!!! :D

Tomorrow I think we may head over to the beach...or a walk to the park to play and have a picnic...maybe both... :nana:
