Weddings: Indian marrying non indians

I think Pocahontas should have boned John Smith before he left for England instead of just running up to that big rock and waving.

Ahhh, yayati has returned to his racist roots at last

Its like reading Mein Kampf for the sub-continent

you read way too much Nietzche boyo

Dont know if you've been paying attention but we're in the 21st century. Tearing down walls instead of putting them up?

Guess some people are afraid of positive change.

That's true. Marrying an Indian from India is a bad idea. They're really inbred and they have a lot of trouble with deafness and hip displaysia.

Hmm.

Or was that a Dalmatian? They look so alike, I can never tell.

Guess that means Sacajewea shouldn't have screwed Lewis then Clark on that cold winter night crossing the Rocky Mountains in Montana then. Left some poor half breed confused about his roots and heritage.

By marrying non-indians you dilute your blood lines, you disgrace your heritage, and you abandon your faith. Its simply cultural suicide. I have never seen a mixed marriage were the indian culture survives into teh second generation. You loose you language, you loose your identity, you loose your roots. How can you return to india with your kids that see indian culture as alien?

Lines are drawn in the sand by race. Its done all over the world. An indian that cannot speak his native tounge is like a fish that cannot swim. Perhaps both cultures may be tolerent of you but they will keep you at a distance and never alow you into teh inner circle.

The strength in any indian comes from their family unity. This unity is built on respect and honor. Family are the people that will watch your back in teh good times and teh bad. And all that is required is to maintain the integrity of the family.

To any indian that marrys non-indians, where is your pride, where is your dignity? Your parents have failed you and you have failed them. Your heritage is lost forever, perhaps your kids will walk into a musiem of indian heritage and say you now i'm 1/16th indian.....

What are you? Perhaps a center piece for their next dinner party, I'm sure they all would be impressed by seeing someone exotic.

Three questions for whomever supports yayati's plea:

Is Indian culture so weak and baseless that it can't survive to the second generation outside of racial purity? Please explain the merits of maintaining a culture with such shallow roots.

Is the integrity of an Indian family threatened by ethnic diversity? Demonstrate the relative success or failure of pure and diverse family dynasties.

Does new genetic material help to strengthen or weaken a stagnant gene pool? Provide examples to support your answer.
