I just got home from shopping for lingere with a friend. I've realized in the last 48 hours that it doesn't matter what size of your body is, most women have some sort of issue with their body.
My friend is beautiful by society standards. Men turn to stare at her and go out of their way to talk to her. She's been in a complete dither about her wedding night all because of what she thinks about her body.
I am happy to say that after two very long conversations and a trip to the mall, we found something that she feels absolutely beautiful in. I am so very happy for her.
I'm also happy that I was finally able to see outside of my own box for a change.
