One of the benefits of a good commercial host, is the info you get as a result of people visiting your website. Stuff like how they were referred there (whether it was a search engine, another website or what), what pages they visited, how long they stayed in each page, where they entered and exited, and yes, even their IP addys. Lots of other stuff too (like what errors happened and so on).

One of the more interesting categories of info, is what browser and operating system they were using. This can be fudged as a browser can be set to lie about what it is, but most people don't do this as there is little reason to - although, there is certainly a certain percentage of non-IE browsers set to present themselves as IE so that certain poorly written websites will work correctly

Anyway, here are those stats from my website:

CPM !?!

Who still uses CPM? Much less to surf the web?

Interesting stats in that they are similar to mine re percentages, but there is one difference there in that you seem to have more Mac visitors than Linux. Of course, I don't have as much traffic as you do - so I assume yours has been up longer (mine has been up a little over a month), and most of the people who come to my site are either recruiters or developers - and it is the developer crowd that is using Linux.

Also, since my sample is much smaller, it probably isn't as valid as yours.
