David here. Whether Yahoo or iSPQ or iSight or otherwise, you'd think there'd be an easy way to find other literotica members with their webcam on to say hi.... or for whatever!

i don't think it's a matter of people not being comfortable.I know I hate having my cam on as a woman because you get on and like 5 million people from your list want to view and many men expect you to be naked when your on there. That why i tend to go through cameraware (which runs through chat such as cobracam ..etc) . Unless you put yourself in a chat no one can contact you and its an open view cam for anyone to see and for you to do what u please. Good luck finding people.

I am on cam sometimes during the weekend. I will cam with someone once I get to know them a little. However, its mostly guys that request to view my cam; they assume I'm female for some reason, but if they take a few seconds to read my profile, they'll see I'm not. I at least get to know the person a little then I send an invite.

In yahoo chat, you can go to individual rooms. There's a listing of adult rooms and there are some standard ones, but you can click a tab to let you see user-named rooms. So people will name whatever they want like

"Bob and Lisa's kinky chat room"
or
"Men in panties"
or anything.

Someone could easily create a "Literotica" room too. It's all based on the yahoo stuff, nothing really to do with literotica, but we could just name a room literotica to attract fans of lit.

OH, yes! On yahoo, I know about the rooms there, just don't really go in them too often.

I think it's a great idea to have a LIT room on yahoo.
