Well, phone sex can be exciting, but if I have the option between that and actually being there....screw AT&T! If I have plans with someone special, it is fun to call a little early and get them inspired for the evening ahead...
As for webcams, (no offense to those who really enjoy them) it's just not that exciting to me. Either the lighting is bad, or if it's good, you wish it were bad (tip: clean your room before you show someone your new webcam- heaps of dirty laundry DOES spoil the mood). Cams are often blurry, or the user sits there like a stump, afraid to wiggle and become blurry. The camera angles are never good- and indubitably, the person who is showing has (to borrow a line) "written checks his body can't cash." Mr. 9" is a narrow 5" with a beer gut and 3 days growth on his chin. The rock hardness he was talking about 2 minutes ago must have been in reference to something else (or maybe stage fright operates like cold water...). Since this already sounds peevy, if a guy has hair on his back, it is just better I find out the natural way, like after I have gotten to like his personality- there is such a thing as too much knowledge too soon in a dating relationship. (I am of course assuming that people who reach this stage would be intending to actually meet, though some people might just enjoy the fantasy of it all, I guess).
Anyway, when a man asks me if I have a webcam (or offers to buy me one for his viewing pleasure) I can't help but think that this is just not something that Audrey Hepburn would do. So, basically my vote is for phone sex and sexy still photographs (not to imply Audrey would have been down for those either, but hey, I am probably already out of the running for Sainthood )

I can certanily respect your opinion there, Minx. My own is (well yah, I started the thread, right? ) a little different, but you have some very valid points. I myself enjoy phone sex greatly, as I can't really travel to meet people much, but mainly it's because I love knowing that I'm bringing my partner to orgasm (ask Foxfire, she'll tell you how much I love that ), and actually -hearing- a woman moaning as she climaxes is one of the best things around (and heck, you know neither side is faking, because what the hell would be the point? Phone sex is for mutual pleasure, after all). As for webcams ... well that's just because I'm a naughty little voyuer, and find the female body a work of art.
