I am thinking about getting a web cam, I would like an inexpensive one, really just a simple one. I would like a clear picture & not one where the picture comes out to fuzzy.

I was wondering if some one could recommend one ...

Thanks in advance. :)

Well, most any webcam will come out fuzzy with poor lighting. Such is the nature of the beast. The logitech cams are pretty good, I find. I, personally, have a creative cam. It's good, sometimes. :)

I purchased a creative cam, last night. Now, my computer recognizes the drive but the cam will not work. :(

Maybe I'll check out the logitech.

I find the logitech ones are nice and simple to use.

I have had two of them and never had a problem with either.

EZonics Dual Cam

Its fairly cheap, great picture, doubles as a digital camera, and comes bundled with alot of software, only bad thing is that it wont work on yahoo cams, but works fine with netmeeting and is also USB.

I personally have an IBM webcam....it also (like most nowadays) takes stills too (My Av was taken by the webcam)..it costs around $59..but on eword of warning..if you use WindowsXP..make sure the cam is suitable for XP...don't go TOO cheap on a webcam..but anything around $60 will be more than suitable.

My avatar was taken with a Logitech QuickCam Express.

It only cost me $20...

The pics are okay as long as you stay up close...

I have an Intel web cam. It was only $40.00.
I have used it for all my own personal avs.
Like Rose said though, it takes best pictures when you are up close.

Rose...I agree, your pics are more than okay:devil:

Aren't your hands getting tired yet lady? (warming my hands just in case she says yes) :rose:

I use a logitech as well. I don't remember how much it was but it wasn't expensive, less than $40.

It takes pretty good pics. You need lots of light!!

Good luck!! :)

i'm thinking of one too..since joining, and seeing other people's pics, i'm into the idea of putting one of my "assets" up....just to see how it does!

Thank you guys ... I will be keeping an eye out for Logitech .. every one seems to agree with this one ... :)

Today, I was at office depot and I came upon a digi cam ... its a Kodak and I was messing around with it @ the store and it takes pretty clear pictures and it was only $75.oo ...

I was going to buy it ... but decided to wait and try to drag my computer suave friend with me some time this week , if she can make time for me. :) She will tell me if I should go for it or ditch it ...

still logged out :)

BTW I had a Logtech cam and mine sucked badly, I couldn't get teh pictures to look right and they all turned out red and blotchy but maybe I just had a bad cam
