Web Cam trouble

How do i get my web cam to work for yahoo messenger. I have used it for skype, but it doesn't want to work for yahoo which I just downloaded

Have you tried googling 'the_name_of_your_webcam Yahoo Messenger' and similar to see if there are any known issues and fixes?

If not, do that, then if you can't find anything, we'll probably need the name of the cam, version of Yahoo and operating system you're using.
