When we turned institutions of so-called Higher Learning into social experiments designed to advance women and people of colors with a lambskin showing that they were "qualified" by dumbing-down coursework an outright making up entire majors specifically to make academic achievement possible for the lowest quartile of those candidates there was necessarily going to be fallout.

Women and people of color who are actually qualified and who are competent in their chosen fields are with good reason assumed to be token hires. If a university education still meant what it used to mean no one would have cause to think that.

When they patted themselves on the back for how equitably these educational resources be it through grants, scholarships, or even admission slots, they neglect to consider the opportunity cost of squandering resources where the expenditure of those resources were not justified.

In order to give women and people of colors a second look and a little hand up in the admission process they were necessarily advanced over white and Asian male candidates that were more qualified. There's no way of telling what those men might have contributed had they not been pushed aside through very much active discriminatory practices.

Despite these well-documented practices of openly, affirmatively giving preference in admission to women and minorities and openly, actively discriminating against white and Asian males they still Advance The Narrative that women and people of color are disadvantaged in college when the exact opposite is true.

The justification for these discriminatory actions led to a culture openly hostile to white males on campuses which had a cascading effect of many of the white males who very well might have survived the higher bar demanded of them simply refusing to subject themselves to that actually toxic environment were they would be harangued about their toxicity based on nothing more than their race and gender.

As a result we import our engineers from third world countries to America. If it were a fact that third world countries somehow are genetically predisposed to engineering brilliance their countries wouldn't be shitholes.

How often my modern society do you see white male engineers or a white male physicians at anything close to their representative population size? You don't. Those fields were traditionally dominated by white males allegedly because the white man be keeping everyone else down. While the white males were keeping everybody down all of those past generations of successful white engineers and white physicians surely had sons and grandsons. How is it that few of them seemed qualified to go into those fields? We've seen from the college admissions Scandal exactly how expensive it is to get your white child into an exclusive College. All those parents had to do was check the box saying they were black and that child would have gotten in.

It isn't even the idea that today's generation must pay for the sins of their fathers by standing aside and allowing less qualified candidates to be promoted the problem that I have with this entire debacle is that while they are actively discriminating and blaming people who had nothing to do with the past sins they are claiming they are STILL victimized and oppressed by the very people that they are actually actively oppressing.

Scotus today has been a farce ...every time they get busted in an obvious discriminatory practice they slap their little hands and tell them you can't do that anymore you have to put a new label on it so that you can continue to do the same thing that you've been doing.

I would like to see scotus affirm that the Fourteenth Amendment means exactly what it says and that in all future employment and admission practices they are going to be based on raw numbers of measurable achievement with all identifiers that might indicate any of the protected classes removed from the paperwork so that all of these decisions are made 100% blind. All interviews will be conducted by text.

Everyone knows what the results of such a scheme would be which is why we will never do it.
