Why do we have to fear our government is spying on us? Monitoring everything we say, write, or do? That it should be scary to have to interact with a government agency. That we have the largest prison population in the history of the world. That we exist to serve our government, rather than the other way around.

How did it get to this?

The Democrats do not.

But RON! it's OUR government now...

The only thing to fear is a Republican win and they can never win: sexist homophobes xenophobes radicals racists ...

We should always fear government. Mencken said it best, GOVERNMENT IS ALWAYS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST BETTER MEN.

'All government, in its essence, is organized exploitation, and in virtually all of its existing forms it is the implacable enemy of every industrious and well-disposed man.'

If I labored under your degree of ignorance I'd be afraid too.

We are the government. Sure it might be flawless but if you fear this government you probably have good reason and should thankful that it is not a thing truly worthy of fear.

You should be very afraid indeed, cowering under your bed as you do, typing incessantly on your keyboard try to prove to the world that you are smarter than you really are. Pussy.

We shouldn't have to fear our government. Liberals should have to fear our government.
