It had been almost twenty years since Tina had seen Jeff, and the anticipation of his arrival was leaving her in quite a state. They had been sweethearts in high school, and although they had not seen one another since, they had always kept in touch. Straightening the cushions again, she inspected the room, and not finding anything to fuss with, she headed for the kitchen.

The kitchen was all tidy and clean as well, which seems a little unnatural to Tina. With her kids at her mothers' place for the weekend, there was no one there to make messes faster then they could be cleaned. The radio was on, and as a song from her high school days began to play, Tina began to dance. She loved to dance, even thought she only danced at home these days, she still never missed an opportunity to wiggle and grind with some good music. She danced over to the fridge, opening the door and wiggled her ass as she leaned forward to reach for the cold drink. She was so relaxed, and feeling so good, that she didn't hear her guest arrive.

Jeff enters...

His hands sure on the wheel, Jeff turned his Expedition onto the driveway he had been described and pulled in. Key turned, engine off. Silence.

Why am I here? he thought to himself.

So many years, memories that had faded until they probably weren't right anyway.

Jeff chuckled as he thought of how he had naiveley promised to marry this girl in the back on his Dad's cavalier, out on Circle Bluff. Long time ago. The phone call had certainly left a lot to ask about-very short, polite, a little giggle at the end. Just like her, but not as happy. Well, no one's dreams all come true.

Jeff opened his door, walked around the front of his SUV, and clacked up the walkway. Knock knock.

Tina:

The knock at the front door caught her attention and she set the drink on the counter. Her heart pounded in her chest, and she felt a little giddy. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself and opened the door.

Jeff was every bit as handsome as she remembered. Time had done nothing to strip away his charming good looks. For a moment she just stood there, looking at him, untill she realized her was doing the same to her. SHe felt amazingly shy. It had been three years since her divorce and she had yet to date any new man. All of a sudden she realized they were still standing in the doorway.

"Jeff, you made it. I was worried my messy directions might get you lost." she giggled a little, trying to cover up how insecure she was feeling. "Come on in. Can i get you anything? a drink?" When she looked up into his eyes, she felt her knees become a little weak, and descided she better get herself a drink before she lost what little composure she had left.
