If you could host a dinner party and have anyone from anytime there, who would you invite?

I would have several different parties, with guest lists built arround diferent themes, looking to for interesting conversation, for instence:

The Presidents:
Thomas Jefferson
Andrew Jackson
Abraham Lincoln
Theodore Rosevelt
Woodrow Wilson
Jack Kennedy
Gerald Ford
Jimmy Carter

Other parties might include millitary leaders, artists, musicians, failed politicans, journalists, etc.

John Belushi
Chris Farley
Phll Hartman
Gilda Radner
Hosted by St. Peter
Musical Guest: Choir of God

Adolf Hitler
Gengis Khan
Attila the Hun
General Pinochet
Pol Pot
Mussolini
Stalin
Eichmann

It would be interesting to see who comes out alive!

I like the theme idea...

Isaac Newton
Aristotle
Leo Da Vinci
Einstein
Stephen Hawking
Helmholtz
Carl Sagan

Shakespeare
Mark Twain
Mozart
Jesus
the people who wrote the Bible
Benjamin Franklin
Albert Einstein
Queen Elizabeth I (woo hoo! a woman!)
Martin Luther King, Jr
(edited to add *da Vinci* -- good one!)

music and entertainment by none other than Queen

I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them at the moment

Malcolm X
Louis Farrakhan
Elijah Mohammad
Haille Salliasse
Martin Luther King Jr.
Huey Newton
and J. Edgar Hoover, just for fun

It's unlucky to have an uneven number.

Very unlucky if your name is J. Edgar Hoover!

Jason Voorhees
Freddy Kruger
Leatherface
Michael Myers
Chuckie, but I'd have to get a high chair
Pumpkinhead
Leprachaun
Candyman
Hannibal Lecter

The only conversation would be between Chuckie, Freddy, Candy and Hannibal

The others would be there to provide entertainment in a winner take all steel cage grudge match.
