I'd suggest reading Hecate's Guide and SweetP's Sticky at the top of the story listings for useful hints and general advice and rules.

As Kahn-E suggested giving an idea of your interests, fantasies, what turns you both on and what turns you off in RT (real time) as well as in stories would give others ideas of rp's to suggest.

A look at profiles may or may not give you an idea of what others are interested in writing about.
