I cant help it, its near 80 here today in Boston, and i'm feeling good, been listening to some music this morning, and it got me thinking....Everyone has those songs that instantly make them think about summer, either because thats when they were being played on the radio/came out, or for a special reason, ya know, "greatist party in the world took place with this song playing" etc...

I figured i'd start a list of summer songs to see what songs everyone associates with the upcoming glorious summer season. Lets get started, shall we?

I believe the drummer from Sublime is in a new somewhat "mega" band with Mikey Welch from Weezer and one of the guys from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I could just be confusing things though.


Listening to any Dave songs brings the summer to mind, those late night concerts at Foxboro Stadium...the parties, the friends, the girls...ahhh, memories

They have played only once in the uk in a decade and i managed to see them when i was 13 (travelled 180 miles on my own )

they did a world tour recently were they not playing anywhere around your way

g'n'r breakdown is a fucking masterpiece

My friends want to take a road trip to new york for the Kroq concert there, dont think it'll happen though, oh well.

Ozzfest seems like a good time, but i'd probably get into a fight, which would be a very bad thing.

The new Eminem has a great beat that i can picture driving my car with the windows down and the music cranked to. Oh, and i cannot forget Jungle Love by Morris Day and the Time.

Too bad Axl hates the U.S., or we woulda been able to see him by now, he's only performed in Vegas, that bastard.

Its gonna be a great time Kitte, the River Rave that is. The trip to Foxboro is gonna be crazy, but seeing all those bands, being INSIDE CMGI field, and seeing all the girls all skanked out is gonna be awesome!! hahaha, i cant wait, two weeks to go!
