I've been meaning to call into Literotica and post this message for days........
First things first though......
Fu, my apologies. My drive by on your thread was not ambivalence. I had -intended- on posting this thread on the Board sooner than later. Had hoped to induce a smile from you then stand still for some humorous berate later.
I've genuinely missed the Literotica community, though it's very unlikely I'll be an -active- ongoing member of the Board again. I quite simply don't have the luxury of time to divert here anymore. However, if you're very good, I may call in once in awhile, purely to taunt you.

Predominantly why I've been away .........
Serendipity found it's way into my life at approximately the time I stopped directly participating on the Board. An extraordinary opportunity presented to immerse myself in a business that's arts based that proved irresistible. I'm constantly working, even when I'm not I'm thinking, reinventing, researching, learning and or tweaking stuff mentally. In my longer term projections it's entirely reasonable to expect a robust supplement to my income, for now it pays it's own overheads. It challenges me constantly in about every way I can imagine possible and I can now finally claim a sincere sense that the foundation I've built is exactly as it should be with the painstaking time & attention I've given it to date. I'm constantly conferring with artists and here's an observation I've made about 'creative types' that I'd like to share here. They are -all- kinked. I swear the closer I get to people, the deeper the conversations we share and then that amusing sense of recognition of the somewhat kindred kinked souls crops up ( nice pun : winks : ). That factor in itself has added a charming edge to the entire experience.
On top of this I've also acquired a monthly writing gig for the Japanese tabloid market, it's fashion design related and only a discerning masochist could do the love/hate thing with the consistency I experience' during each evolution before release. Deadline pressure can be surreal and contending with interviews & challenging designers that make even the most tenacious sadist appear pliable. Can we spell precious : laughs : In fact I've been known to address most of them as sadists, directly. Proof readers on the other hand are service orientated submissives, they'd have to be to tolerate me.
On another note my son graduated from High School last year and that in itself has been a interesting transition. The concept alone terrified me, the reality with some sincere planning has actually been fine. As long as he doesn't break the rules about piercings and tattoos this year I'll survive. I'm a good Mom though, I will on occasion watch 'Miami Ink' with him and with hyper enthusiasm go "ohhhhhhh look how cool that tattoo is and no you still can't have it", then we both laugh. He's sooooooooooooooooo cute he thinks I am going to cave soon ! BTW yes I know I SUCK and truly I don't care !
Re : The Library. So happy to see that's been taken in hand. It's a huge amount of work and quite some time after I'd actively stopped posting in Lit I was calling in and dealing with portions of it behind the scenes. I had -intended- on trying to keep the pace, I had -intended- on staying an active member of the Community here, without a clone of myself sadly impossible. Thank you all for your trust and support during the time that I did. I should add at this point, that I was 98% certain that mods here had full access to the passwords that would make hand over easy. I -should- have formally stated my resignation from the position, clearly good intentions do not a cohesive resource make and for that you have my sincere apologies.
Wishing you all so very well & much happiness in all that you do. I'll call back in here on my weekend ( which is oddly midweek now ) and make a few personal posts.
If you'd care to share, I'd love to hear what you've all been up to.
