Man arrested and in custody.

He was involved in a domestic dispute just prior to this incident.

Even the Waukesha police say there is no evidence of a premeditated, planned terror attack...it appears at the moment this horrible person was either angry, on drugs, both and took it out on the parade goers.

over here, the disgruntled pick up guns and go shoot up a load of people, or jump into their cars and weaponise them, scream abuse at airline staff and customer service people and even attack them physically. Husbands/wives who discover unfaithful partners all too often resort to physical violence against that person, including blowing them away, and then maybe topping themselves to boot, as if it's some kind of logical next step.

it's a strange thing to get a head around, especially when it's counterbalanced by a far broader religious presence. why do so many people grow up here accepting this is just what happens in these situations? it's not okay. it's a sickness. fortunately, there are still more people who don't feel that way but it's hard not to get pulled down by the others. There's a recall of Chas Boudin the SF District Atty scheduled for early next year. We shall see how that goes and what the public response is to the results.
