I haven't had any problem restocking my reloading supplies. Not particularly happy with the prices though, especially the real slow burning powders.

Yeah, it's out there. Expensive. That trend started 15 years ago. I still have some 7.62mm surplus that I bought around Y2K and paid $0.18/round for. If I had had more 18 centses at the time, I woulda bought more.


I do have a bunch of brass which would do to reload if and when. Right now, it's simpler just to shop until I drop and find the best deals on what I shoot.

Brass isn't an issue with me, I have a damned near unlimited supply. When I finally sort it out I'll be able to take the residue to the scrap metal place and end up with enough $$$ to go on a component shopping spree.

The recycle guys turned down a few buckets of brass years ago. No idea if that's still the case (yes, i know) or not, or what one would have to do with it to get them to take it.


I should try a bucket Out West when next I'm there. Maybe someone hain't skeert of an unpopped primer.
