Probably the worst thing about the internet IMO is the ability to see things like that. Torture, murders, crime scenes, etc. There is no positive advantage to seeing that stuff. It's simply morbid curiosity and while that in itself isn't bad, the ability to see so much of it takes it to a bad level.
In my opinion. Which is frequently wrong according to my wife.
