.... she bends, she twistts, she squats and presents her rump...

Mr. Johnson is lonely, and a bit of a peeping-Tom. He has a big telescope that he uses to watch his neighbours. One day he sees Ms. Downe give her old vibrator a proper burial in the garden. After years of faithful service it didn't seem right to just throw it away.

So he orders a new one online, and gets a small tree from the do-it centre. When Ms. Downe is at work he sneaks over and transplants the tree atop the old vibrator, and ties the new one onto a branch with string.

Then he goes home to watch.

THAT tree she fertilzes and waters diligently...

I think I'm going to try this one myself - but it may be in a few weeks. My idea is to base it on a strange period in my own life. I had separated from my wife but I was still living in the same house (in a room in the attic). Somehow she talked me into still going the yard work (I was home most of the day). Of course, there was no such neighbor, but the lady in the photos above would make a good model.

One advantage I have is that I remember the layout of the houses and yards so I would be able to use those in the story. I also have a specific time period (1996-97) that I would use. I was about forty-one at that time, but I was pretty horny because, well, I was no longer sleeping with my wife.

sirhugs, I'll gladly give you a "based on an idea by" credit if you wish.

I've actually started off two early 1960s stories with gardening. In 'April Leads Julie Astray' shy Julie watches the more confident April raking leaves across the street with her family, while in 'Mandy Makes A Man of Mark' the smitten Mark watches Mandy and her 18-year-old twin daughters working in their garden.

now no longer shy Julie moves in across from Mandy and the twins...

I usually don't ask for advice, but I will here. So we have the premise. We assume the guy, sex-starved because he's separated from his wife, masturbates a lot thinking about his neighbor. He even has a lot of foliage in the backyard during the summer to screen him if he wants to watch her. So what happens next?

1. The neighbor catches him watching and initiates sexual relations with him.
2. The neighbor catches him and reports him to his wife/ex-wife. She could just yell at him, but that seems kind of anti-climatic. Anyway, does the wife evict him then?
3. The wife invites her over for dinner/drinks or something and he's invited too. Then what?
4. He sees the woman having sex with another woman eventually. Is she a lesbian, bi-sexual, bi-curious, or whatever? How would he know which she is?
5. Nothing really happens and he eventually moves out.

The first choice seems the most amusing/satisfying but perhaps the least likely.

6. He has a tiny balcony on the second floor, and the trees that screen him so his neighbor doesn't see him also partly obscures his vision. He moves around to see her clearly but using his dominant hand to masturbate he...oooooops...thump...falls.

He is naked and lying on a rather rough patch of his lawn when she arrives. And well, it's apparent what he was doing. But he is hurt-- and somewhat handsome-- and she is kind-hearted. She helps him stumble into her house-- because, adding insult to injury-- he has locked himself out of his. She guides him to the sofa in the end of her family room, and brings him some ice.

He can see-- watch-- her in the kitchen, and he's covered with dirt and pine needles. She doesn't offer him a blanket, figuring, "it serves him right," for what he was doing...

"Jesus, look at him, even injured...he has an erection right now," she thought.

Once she is certain that he does not need to visit the Emergency Room-- something he quite vocally lobbies against-- she decides to give him what he came for, a show, and strips down to just a pair of thong panties as she goes about doing what she needs to do.

He watches her, and she checks on him. They talk, eventually getting around to joking about the situation. He is naked and locked out of his house. She has no men's clothing in her house-- and she is smaller of stature, so even her robe is too small for him. She had originally seen his predicament as humorous, but she also comes to see his attraction to her as flattering.

Eventually, once he is up to it, she helps him to the shower and cleans him up before taking him to her bed. He's still pretty sore so the first time she just lays him out and takes a mustache ride-- reminding him that he better be "good." Because if he isn't its going to be a cold embarrassing conversation with the locksmith.

This has some parallels with my upcoming On The Job story, which I submitted yesterday. You'll see it when it comes out so I won't give away any spoilers.

So your idea does bring up an issue. Should there be some pretext for her coming over to his side of the fence rather than the other way around? It seems like they have to meet somehow for there to be a plot.

One other thing I should mention. He has two young children living in his house (ages about four and seven) and they are in school/daycare during weekdays. (That was my own experience in New Jersey). On her side, Mister Neighbor has moved out but he has been replaced by her sister. One or both of those women also have at least one child. There might be some possibilities there.
