Ordered a few soup-'em-up parts for the last pair of ARs. Looking forward to getting all of this happy stuff out to the range and getting some lead sent downrange and see where it all hits.

Originally there is no such thing as Buddha, but by necessity the name was given to him. Originally there is no such thing as mind. To attain enlightenment is to realize the one thing. For the sake of illustration, it is said that the one thing is empty, but it is not really empty. Mind of no mind is the true mind, wisdom of no wisdom is the true wisdom.

Once during a regular question and answer session with his students, spiritual teacher J. Krishnamurti paused and leaned forward and asked the audience, “Do you want to know what my secret is?”. Everyone sat up and became immensely alert because here was one of the great spiritual teachers of the 20th century and he was about to tell them his secret. Krishnamurti in a soft spoken voice said “You see, I don’t mind what happens”. “When you live with this awareness, this sensitivity, life has an astonishing way of taking care of you. Then there is no problem of security, of what people say or do not say, and that is the beauty of life.’

~ J. Krishnamurti

Why does he call the sea turbulent?
Because it rages
and is restless.
Whoever would hear the Word…
must rise up
and raise his mind
above all corporeal things

and must cross over the turbulence
of the mutability

of all transitory things

~Meister Eckhart

Indulge in lust a little, and like the child it grows apace.

The wise man hates it therefore; who would take poison for food? Every sorrow is increased and cherished by the offices of lust.

If there is no lustful desire, the risings of sorrow are not produced, the wise man seeing the bitterness of sorrow, stamps out and destroys the risings of desire....

Buddha's teachings on life's truths

Experience is the truths in life that will help you become confident with your decisions. Think about the good sayings about personality from Buddha's teachings to apply to your future life:

Master your body and mind to make life easier.
Do your best, you will surely be arranged a good life.
Buddha teaches people to love and respect each other, not to go against morality to achieve what they want.
Give what you can, you will surely receive many lucky things in the future.
You try to live your best today, the future will be arranged properly.
Inherently, you do not need to look back to see who has treated you badly or cursed you. Just keep moving forward and live for the future.
The past is the past, the future is the future, live your best today.

You have to know how to take care of and love yourself because no matter who you are, when you fall sick, someone else will take care of you.

Even if you seek tranquility, delight in goodness, and search for the source, if you don't meet someone with genuine true knowledge and understanding, it will turn instead into major error. The fault lies in false teachers.

~ P'u-an

If you are pained by external things, it is not they that disturb you, but your own judgment of them. And it is in your power to wipe out that judgment now.

~ Marcus Aurelius Antoninus
