Even when it does get into the 90's it's only for a couple hours out of the day and the nights are always chilly.

Yea, we already left.
Funny, before we moved to Florida we rarely ran AC in our midwest homes or vehicles. After we got old we became pussies. Now I'm sitting in Illinois staring out the window at sunshine with the AC cranked up enough to make our nipples hard.
It doesn't make us greedy but maybe a wee bit silly!
