Washington DC?

I know it's stereotyped as a dull city - but I just moved to town and don't want to believe it. Anyone want to play tour guide? Show me the magic? ;-) Anyone have any advice on places to go?

i'm not in dc but im in northern va.
there are some good clubs and stuff like that but thats about it
