Was your first time great, or a disaster?

Just about everyone remembers that first time. What I'm wondering is, was it really as good as you thought it would be, or was it something you were glad was overwith. and if so, how soon after did you have really good sex?

I recall my first time as quick and furtive, and not very pleasing sexually. But that next time, with a more experienced partner, was sensational! I may have had better sex over the years, but that time remains almost indelible in my mind.

How about you? Was your first great, or did you also have to wait for another experience?

pretty quick actually, took about 4 months to get really good sex, but it was with someone else.

There were actually several aborted attempts that led up to the first time. I think the most satisfying thing was finally achieving the goal we'd been working toward. Thankfully, things got a lot better pretty quickly thereafter.

It was great at the time, and ended up a disaster.

She was with a guy who really didn't want her, and it ended up happening between her and me. Then she started feeling guilty and confessed. Yeah, my first time was pretty shitty, too. I was 16 and a gullible senior in high school ... He was a renowned sex-a-holic with a silver tongue, so I fell for it and I remember the pain after he first slid into me and then how he kept trying to hammer in after that. Yup, the consensus seems to indicate fist time is pretty much a disaster. Unless, as sweetand saayman points out, it was with an experienced partner . . . who cared.

And to Loand beholdguy: I googled couches and learned that they don't particularily care unless the burden of weight and not guilt is on them. Then they might just groan. LOL

I grew up in a strict Southern Baptist household (yeah that's what happened to me LOL) and didn't have my first real sexual experience until I was out of the house at age 18. She was 10 years older than I, very pretty. I was nervous as hell and she seemed to be going through the motions.

I was 18 and it was horrible. Guy slightly older then me and didn't take his time with me. Seriously painful, emotionally scaring, and humiliating. Looking back wish I had started with an older man who knew what he was doing and was willing to take the time needed to get me ready.

My own was lost

I am still somehow indifferent about the experience, but I also think that it was somehow educational for me at that age.

In this case both partners cared for one another, and when she felt pain, he halted and waited until told to try again. I gather that this relationship lasted for a while. Thank you for sharing your experience.
