Following a link from the breast site I went to that URL and as soon as it opened up it tried to download a DLL (executable content) to my computer. Fortunately I have my computer setup to where that cannot happen without my permission and W2K caught it, but I did get a warning.

I strongly recommend that this xxxsexy.net be avoided - any site that downloads executable content without your permission is risky.

It turns out that SP.DLL is one of those nasty pieces of work that resets your homepage everytime you start up your computer.

Yes, it will reset your home page... but it's not too hard to set it back, and if you have an antivirus, you'll be fine.

Yeah it's not a major problem.

I get this a lot when I'm surfing porn (purely in the interest of research) and a right click on the Explorer link on my Desktop, a click on Properties and you'll be able to change the Home Page to whatever you want...

I believe the difference is, if you read the link I provided, that the DLL is run on startup of your machine and the Home Page is changed back to the site everytime you restart your computer.

Yes that's what I meant as well...

After surfing porn sites I've just closed my computer down only to find that when I boot up again I've got a porn site home page instead of my usual one.

Then I just change it back to the usual default as I explained.
