Checking out the large 4 color photo on the front of the sports section of the Anderson paper. He had just crossed the finish line and was standing on the horse looking back, the crop was high in the air held parallel to the ground, outlined perfectly against the blue Kentucky sky.

I was looking at it thinking, 'man, that's a nice crop'

wondering if anyone else who saw the picture thought the same thing.

I was thinking "fucking pathetic" myself. I never had trouble getting horses to run without whipping their asses off. I believe that defies the SSC thing because I doubt the horse is consentual in this issue.
