Zoey Smith , Was haveing one of those days that Weird shit just kept happening and she didn't know why.. Her parents said she was very special and that she should take care how she would choose a mate .

She thought of two things either her parents had fliped her lid or she wasn't sure what they ment ..As she went to the morgue to work.. She loved her job.. where can she say she sees dead people all the time...

Since it was night time and she worked third shift .. She just got a customer as she loved to call them .. That was riddled with bullet holes... she talked to him

"Well Handsome I guess it wasn't your lucky night " she pulled out the bullets and cleaned him up as she always did and did her report.. Everynow and then she could of swore she was out of it because her dead man had a heart beat ..

"I need a Vacation Sexy I swear I hear you heart beating " she shook her head and drank her coffee..

Of course her parents should of warned her about Vampires and that they weren't Souless or Evil well some of them anyhow...

Marcus opened his eyes with a smirk. "Well beautiful, if you heard a heart beat, then wouldn't it mean that I'm not dead?" He smirked at her with a grin and sat up, not caring that he was sitting there naked to the world to see. He looked around and nodded. "Hmm, another morgue, why do people think to put me here before making sure that I'm dead, or wait I am dead. Funny thing with being of the undead, you can't be killed by mear bullets like this, well unless your a Werewolf, but they would have to be silver." He looked at the young lady that was working on him and smiled. "You missed one Ma'am." He then reached into his knee, and pulled the last one out for her and popped his neck while his wounds healed up.

She looked at the man with wide eyes "YOu got to be jokeing " Rubbing her Temples "I really need a Vacation " as she walked away from the guy that was sitting on her table that should be dead and talking to her..


"So Dead man you have a name so I can at least mark you off my chart because no one would believe me that I have a dead man talking to him " she siped her coffee as she sat on her desk wondering if she was sick

"Well I am known as Marcus in this area, and yes I am dead. Didn't your parents ever tell you about Vampires? I am one of them that is in this area, and you my dear aren't going to remember this has every happened. You are a very beautiful woman, and I can offer you eternal life and beauty if you were to just ask." He turned on his vampire charm for her, smiling brightly and looking her in the eye.

Zoey Looked at Marcus shocked by his offer as they chatted .. She walked into a spare locker and pulled out some fresh clothes and handed it to him .

"My parents Always said I was Different and to choose my mate wisely " she smirked when she said that filling up her Coffee as she looked at Marcus

"Seems to me What your offering must have a price .. YOur not telling me a Price " silly vampire why didn't he figure her not screaming if she didn't know about Vampires and Werewolves and such things ...

"Oh I'm sure you know the price my lady, eternal life eternal beauty also means eternal death. As a vampire you would never see the light of day again, and you would be bonded to me, as my kindred. You would crave blood, and there are those that would want you to remain dead without coming back. But besides those little things, you can still keep in touch with your family, have friends that aren't Vampires, and keep your exquisite beauty as it is. I do ask you one thing, what do I call such beauty as yourself, you have to have a name of some sorts."

She sat there Amused "You welcome for the Clothes and My name is Zoey Smith " she grinned at him .. She mused to her self now any other women in this Situation would be either screaming or running away or already passed out ..

Now here she was calmly drinking her coffee as she talked to him .. "Tell me Marcus What do you get out of this .. It seems your kinda doing me a favor or is it something else " Mommy never raised dumbies she thought to her self...

Marcus looked at her with a smile. "Well all I get from it is a mate, someone to be with for the rest of my unattural life. Even someone as old as I am get's lonely at times, even horny at times also." He grinned at her wtih a wickedly handsome grin when he took the clothes she had offered him and put them on,

Zoey couldn't help being sarcastic "Wow Marcus you really have a way with women .. You know you would of had a better responce if you asked me on a Date " she got off her desked .. Lucky her ....Her shift was almost up .


"Look I have some paper work to do in 5 minutes and then I'm off is there anywhere you like me to take you " as she pulled her red hair out of her pony tail and getting her jeans and a tank top ..

Marcus smiled and chuckled. "You are going to be a tough one. I was offering you the opportunity of a lifetime to become a Vampire willingly, but if I must I must." He walked up to her and stood behind her in an instant, he wasso fast that one instant he was in front of her talking, the next he was behind her, whispering in her ear. "I can hear your heart beat Zoey, and your going to be my bride pretty soon. Just relax, and enjoy this. I hear it's like an orgasm the first time." He then leaned down to take his first bite ,,,,

OOC: You can take it from there on how much she puts up a fight or whatever, if this isn't where you wanted this to go, let me know in your next post, and we can change as the story goes along and she fights back.

IC. Zoey was shocked how fast he was as he felt his breath on her neck . She shivered as her skin tingled , looking up at him sighing "I'm not going to win am I not under your strength and yet you haven't used any of your powers on me Why Marcus"

She leaned into his body waiting for him ... as she moved her head to the side and let him do what he had to do as she slowly turned around so she can look him in the eyes.. Her big blue eyes didn't show fear at all but understanding "I'll forgive you in about a 100 years Marcus" she grinned

He hesitated as he looked into her eyes. He never had anyone show no fear and look him in the eyes before so he had to ask. "Why don't you fear this Zoey, what is it that your looking for in life. I could easily take you and make you mine right here and now, and you would have no power to stop me, but you seem resigned to your fate. What is it that makes you like this. Yes I am going to turn you tonight, but not yet. Is there someplace we can go to get out of the sunlight when it comes? Vampires don't like the sun, it's one of the few things that can kill them."

Zoey Smiled at him "I will get you out of the light please hold on while I change my clothes" she hurried and changed and came back as she looked at him ..

"I clocked out so lets go I even got a blanket to cover your self if need be .. " She led him to her Car and took him home with her..

Lucky for him she had a dark room and she was pretty sure he was going to ask alot of Questions as they got inot the house . Zoey left the curtains closed as she looked at him ..

"Your Question you asked earlier lets just say my family has alot of monsters in the closet" she smiled and left it at that . "Let me show you to your guest room " as she showed him the darkest room in the house the windows were even painted black to keep out the sun during the day...

Marcus nodded and sat on the bed in the room. "So what would you like to know?"

Zoey looked at Marcus and grinned at the loaded question she really couldn't help her self to be a smart ass as she hopped up and sat on the dresser " Why in the world woyld want a woman you barely know for a Mate for the fact that you don't love me and we just met seems kind silly don't it Even though your powerful you have yet to use it on my seems to me you got a soul in there for a creature of the darkeness "

She sat there looking innocent as she grinned at him slyly

Marcus smiled with a girn. 'Oh I have a soul in here, but since you insist, I will show you my full power." He waved his hand, and the door was locked. He then closed his eyes, and then opened them to reveal his full Vampiric Sexual Powers to her.

Zoey laughed at him "Impressive Marcus " she grinned at him not moveing from her spot "But you never answer all my question now did you .. Why not court some one your like just because you think I'm gem doesn't mean I am "

She couldn't wait to see what else he can do she mused to hersel

"Why don't I go after someone that is like me? It's easy, I like a challenge, and someone that will be like me, in that they would have a heart, it won't be beating, but a heart none the less." He grinned and turned off his powers, he liked this girl already, and wanted to give her anything and everything.

Zoey tipped her head to the side... "Must suck to live all those years , But I bet it was fun through the times...I assume you have your own place " she Yawned "Lucky you I'm a really big night owl and I need my sleep So are you going to make me sleep here with you or do I get to sleep in my own bed"

She couldn't believe she was mouthing off to him .

"I will trust you, you haven't done anything to make me not trust you so far. You can go ahead and sleep in your own room, unless you want to join me. I can guarentee you the night of your life, if you would care to partake." He grinned and chuckled. "I'm serious about that, but not right now, I am also tired. I do have my own place, and yes it has been a interesting few years that I have been like this."

Zoey looked at him "Get some sleep and no you can't join me " she walked out and paused "Night Marcus Hopefully your only a dream" she smiled as she went to her room changed into a t-shirt and boxer shorts and went straight to bed..


6pm the next night Zoey was close to waking but she was haveing a really odd dream as she tried to hang on to it ... She left her door open in case Marcus needed anything .

Marcus smiled in his sleep. He didn't dream, just slept through the day. When night time fell, he got up and stretched a bit before getting up. He looked out his bedroom door slightly, and saw that it was dark out now, so he slipped down to where Zoey was in her bedroom, and slipped through the open door and sat at the end of her bed watching her sleep with a smile.

Zoey woke up feeling like someone was watching her sitting straight up she looked at Marcus and her first instict was to punch him and she did as she screamed at him ...

Slowly wakeing up she brushed the hair out of her eyes "Please don't do that I don't need someone sneaking up on me while I sleep " she growled at him easeing off the bed she followed her nose to the kitchen she had a maid come in and clean house as her only request was to make sure the coffee was brewing at a certain time...

pulling out of cup as she made her some coffee she moaned in pleasure as she looked up at Marcus chuckling at her "What you laughing about bat boy"

"Oh nothing really, but I like that nickname, can I keep it? Now do you have any blood on hand?" He looked at her with all seriousness. "I mean I don't drink or eat real food. That's what you don't have to worry about either if you take me up on my offer, or I just turn you for the hell of it." He showed her his fangs with a grin. "You even get a cool set of these."
