You know that they're out there, it's just that they are elusive, and you have to lure them out with something that grabs their interest. So, the hat trick is to post something that is intriguing enough to pique someone's curiosity enough to want to respond.

These postings are kind of like newspaper articles if you ask me .. you've got to have a good headline that will make the reader want to click and read the posting. And then in the lead paragraph, you've got to grab their attention with something unique or interesting or else they have no incentive to read the entire thing.

On top of that -- people have such short attention spans these days that it works against the "average" posting .. so it have to post something that is "above average".
