I don't know for certain this will work, as the story I worked it on has yet to be approved. However, every indication is that it will. I have created a story with FIVE options coming off a thread.
Here's how I did it: After composing a thread, you hit "submit" and it says that your thread has been approved (or that it has been submitted for approval, depending on your access to that story - bear in mind I've only tried this on a story for which I had editorial access).
Then you hit the "back" button on your browser, and you are presented with a blank screen with which you may add another option in the same place. You can repeat this as many times as you want, and each time you get an additional option. Five times, six, twelve - hell, you could probably do it a hundred times and have a hundred options leading off the thread. Think about what this means - you could create a story in which, for instance, the reader could choose from a list of fifty different women to have sex with!
Of course, if your thread already has four options leading from it, you can't add another one. This is something that needs to be planned in advance, preferably with the threads already written in Notepad so they can be pasted in without the danger of timing out (a good idea in any event).
