Earl, Whisper hasn't posted on the AH in about a year but I have it on good authority that she has been checking us out now and then.

Sorry if I mislead you.

She has posted the first chapter of a Novel or Novella so I think we can expect to see some of her work once more, at least I hope so. As you know, she wrote some great stories including several How To articles that are terrific.

My hope in starting this thread was that a some of us might contact her and get her to begin visiting on a regular basis once again.

Wow, Mr. Teach, that's quite a welcome. I humbly thank you, but still chuckle at the idea that people will remember me after years away. And the story I'm posting is a REposting of a novella that already appeared here, but was gone for a while.

Of course I remember you Whisper! You were nice to me on the first ever thread that I started.

Songcatchers is.... a little bit off the map. Don't worry if you don't get him, you'll be joining a large and distinguished crowd.

Alex de Kok is still around, but not a frequent poster. Dixon left about the same time as you and Muffin disappeared without trace about 2 years ago.

As far as I can tell, that was a thread that cloud started in 09-04-1999 , Dirtydenise revived briefly in 01-09-2001 , and svet disinterred on 03-04-2005 .

I don’t know why svet does that, but it drives a sane person crazy.

Yeah, I'm still here but, like TheEarl said, not a frequent poster on the boards. Still a slow writer, too, but there should be a new one from me shortly. Nice to see 'Hostile Takeover' coming back. Still the original? Or updated?

AoK! Big smooches to you. You can't be a slower writer than I am. Hostile Takeover is slightly revised. There are a couple of scenes that don't play the way they used to. Namely the scenes with the two frat boys (not that I expect anyone to remember those.) A "fan" and I had a discussion about Fiona and Rockwell and what they would or wouldn't do and I agreed.

Then, get this...an anonymous person sent me this very long letter about what they'd have changed. Stuff about Fiona having many thoughts about not wanting to get impregnated, and then later finding out she was...etc. etc. etc. It was very surprising how fervent this person was about what he/she though should be different. He/she went into great detail and obviously had a thing about pregnancy. Anyway, I wished they would have included their address so I could write them back.
