Here's a plan that works. Go out of town, just turn off the puter, what ever it takes to disappear for a week or so. Notice how many e-mails, pm's, off-line messages, etc. you get from on-line friends who are used to hearing from you on a daily basis. I bet you will be surprised.
I had a conference out of town and was gone from Wednesday night until Sunday night, but didn't make it back to the puter (working really hard, deadline and all you know) until afternoon on Monday. I was really surprised to see the number of people wondering where I've been hiding....how heart warming that was!

THat doesn't really work for me. I was gone for a few weeks a year ago, came back, had over 100 e-mails...but, about 99% of them were junkmail.
