It is tonight. Is it cultural appropriation if I celebrate it with a bonfire to ward off coronavirus? I am of Northern European ancestry.

I don’t think Christians are generally too worried about cultural appropriation. They’re just grateful for a bit of attention.

Where I come from we used to mark the occasion by hiking up on to a particular hill and lighting a big bonfire. I’m sure that other activities went on as well but I was much too innocent then.
