Waiting

...is the toughest part of submitting a story. I sent in my second one last night and am nervously waiting to see when it will show up on the site.

Anybody else get like that when they send in a story?

Yes, I remember that feeling! Excited and nervous all at once! I don't get that feeling anymore, but the first 3 stories I put up at Lit, I did! I was on pins and needles, and thought it was never gonna post!

Now, once I submit, I almost forget about it until some one sends me feedback!

Sometimes, I wish I would have stayed nervous and excited!

Waiting also is usually the most creative time that I have; once I get started on erotica, ideas tend to flood me. I think my muse is manic.

It's so rewarding though, opening up your mailbox and having a relative rush of feedback on your new story. Very heady experience. Can't wait to do it again. o)
