Waiting Time for Story Approval

I've published six stories on Literotica over the past year. On average, the stories have appeared on Lit four days after submission. However, I submitted a new story eight days ago and it has not yet been published.

Now, I'm not in any great hurry to see the story published and I do realize that an enormous number of stories are submitted every day for approval. But I'm wondering if I should be concerned that there is some kind of technical problem as the wait is so much longer for this story than for my previous submissions. BTW, the story is not terribly long and quite innocuous--a lesbian romance with vanilla sex--so I can't see it being rejected or held up because of inappropriate content.

Any thoughts?

It’s a crap shoot. I’ve had a couple rejected for “long” paragraphs and then read stories that run on and on and are in complete disarray. Guess it all depends on who’s approving them.
