Well, I wouldn't rate it a tee hee....

...but worthy a moment of sober reflection.

AJ said the other day that war is pointless for us. If Republicans are in charge, Democrats will sabotage it and whine for it to end, regardless the merits. If Democrats are in charge, they won't prosecute it with the seriousness such things deserve.

It isn't even about political "points." Those people with the purple thumbs were told we had their back. They went out and voted with the threat of death from religious zealots of the most virulent kind.
