A small group of almost a dozen moderate House Democrats is floating the long-shot idea of censuring President Donald Trump instead of impeaching him, according to a report.

Censure — unlike impeachment — could be bipartisan, whereas impeachment has not garnered the support of one House Republican. In fact, two Democrats defected on the vote to begin an impeachment inquiry — Reps. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) and Collin Peterson (D-MN).

Both would be appropriate. It's not like anyone has put up a credible defense for Trump in anything--and there's a whole shitload of "anythings" for Trump.

I am still waiting for the Demo's to trot out a list of things the POTUS can't do or say in minute detail.

That would be just too cool!

Well, it's true that Trump has done and said garbage that no other president in history has done--or would do. I'm sure you find that amusing.

But, hey, you seem to be the Evangelical on the board. Tell me, what aspect of anything Trump does or says matches the life and example of Jesus?

If 15 more vulnerable dems flip they aren't going to carry the vote. In a bizarre way I hope they don't flip, I want to watch the "trial."

Only 16 D's need to vote no or abstain for the Articles to not be passed. If there are in fact a dozen who are waffling, that's pretty telling on how bad this entire clusterfuck is going for the D's.

Why do you think it should?

Evangelical ?

Oh, no.

That is not me.

Has Trump rounded up 112,000 Japanese Americans and seized their property like FDR did?

Has he shut down any newspapers like John Adams did?

Has he taken "immediate steps at home to curtail one of the pillars of democracy – press freedom – by implementing a plan to control, manipulate and censor all news coverage, on a scale never seen in U.S. history" and create a federal agency called "Committee on Public Information," like Woodrow Wilson did?

Did he arrest any state legislators, like Abraham Lincoln did?

Did he sic the IRS on his political opponents like FDR, LBJ, and Obama did?

Did he sic the CIA on his political enemies, like Nixon did?

Then someone else posts in your name as well, apparently. The other possibility is that you have no clue what you actually post.

Just tell it like I see it.

Now, YOU interrupt what I say or why is not my problem.

So far you are not doing that great of a job.

Just so you know.
