Voted today...the easiest I've ever experienced...can't imagine going back

No lines, no waiting, my ballot was filled out at home and instead of mailing it in I dropped it off at a box location.

Two wonderful poll attendants where the to receive it.

No shannanigins or knuck-heads around like Repubs we're calling for...and everyone voting was in a spectacular mood.

I cannot image ever going back to long lines at the polls given how easy and painless and safe this was.

And.....BYE-DON!!!!

I never voted early prior to 2016. We mostly did it then because my wife was volunteering and they kept stressing that it's important to vote early, which I went along with despite my feeling that Election Day should be an "event."

I'm actually not too worried about waiting till Election Day because the polling place is a quick walk from my house, and we never have any issues with staffing, waits, busted machines, etc. But we're going to go vote later in the week. In 2020, when you never know what's going to happen next, why not get it out of the way?

i had a similar experience. it was quick and easy and everyone was wonderful who was working the poll. i had to drive further but who cares if it makes it a totally positive experience and you know your vote is counted?
