A romance writer friend of mine who is up for a couple of awards at the Preditors & Editors website asked me to drop by and vote for her, which I did. While I was there I noticed that there is also a category for best online writer's group.

I have no idea what it will accomplish other than making you feel good, but if you want to let other writers know how much you enjoy this hangout, click below and do your bit.

BUMPED THREAD

I've bumped this thread back to the front page because today is the 13th and voting closes on the 15th. When the thread first went up Literotica quickly went from being a nonrunner to a steady third place. As the days went by Literotica sank down to seventh place, but we still have two days for those who haven't voted to do so. I still don't know what it will accomplish if the AH wins, but I guess winning is the only way to find out.

Been there and voted. The AH is creeping up in the poll.

I'm a Florida voter, so it's probably best if I stay out of it.

Dear Shere,
Good idea. It's your damn dangling chads that gave us Shrubbie. Of course, it's probably better than being gored, ox-wise.

This is fun!

Well, I voted for the AH, but I am not certain it was the correct thing.

If the AH should happen to win, how will it change? Will we be overrun with serious, writers whose discussions are filled with market trends, complaints about agents, and marketing/contractual ploys?

Then I will have to leave. Too much like being at work.

If you're really worried about it, just send Peditors and Editors an email telling them how impressed you are that they allowed Literotica to enter, despite our requirement that all new members be fitted for a butt plug. Then we'll only get the agents.:p

Oooh, I missed out on one of those when I joined. Can I have mine fitted now, please?

Lou :p

EDIT! P.S. Oops, I forgot to say what I'd originally intended to say. The mention of a butt plug kinda threw me. ;) Anyway, I was only going to mention that I've been there and voted. :)

"Fitted" is a misnomer, unless you believe that a butt plug driven home with a twenty pound sledge results in a “fit!”

Ooooh, stop it with your eroticisms. I'm in no fit state to be getting horny right now. ;)

Sledgehammers make you horny? Watch out next time your appliance repairman calls, he might have one in the van.

Oh, of course it is. Things could be ever so much worse!

I'm just not sure how...

BTW, your new AV made me choke on a Raisinette. You look like one of the lads from "Diff'rent Strokes" on one of those "Where Are They Now" child star retrospectives.

"Early fame had been difficult enough. But having to hide the fact that he longed to be white and a woman..."
