Vote for eXcessica!

*sneaks over to eXessica because she has been bad and not looked over there yet*

*doing a happy dance*

They like me? They really really like me? :p

I'm glad I found this thread!
I'll be doing some reading...

Kisses,

Auntie M

Great to see the nominations are up, but it was like a trip through Oz trying to getting anywhere where I could vote.

The links work for me... but I do think you have to be "signed in" and have joined the group first.

I went around that post a couple of times. Maybe it will straighten out overnight. Would be nice to see the entire slate. And I see nominations for two of my books (apparently) under the "Best New Publisher" listing without mention of the category.

Ahh, final got in.

There are only two nominees for Best New Publisher, so eXcessica would make good use of the votes there (hint, hint).

I saw that the categoy my Dark Angel Sounding and Hard Knocks U were nominated to was "Gay Short Stories" (which is strange, since Hard Knocks U is a novel, not a short story).

And one not listed here: My Across the Threshold was nominated for best gay novel (which is also strange, since it's an anthology, not a novel--but don't let that keep you from voting it, although Shabbu's Tree of Idleness, which is also listed in that category, is half mine, and really is closer to being a novel).

Later: Oh, and I see that Impressive (Alessa Brio) and Bel's Spring Training is nominated for best Romance Erotic "Other" novel too. (And that Impressive is on for a couple of cover awards.)

Yes, Bel, Imp and Victoria Blisse (Our own Miss English Lady ;) ) are nominated in different categories. (Put up links, guys!)

Very cool!

Did you have any idea eXcessica was going to go this far, this fast, Selena?

And here I thought we were just monkeying around . . . :p

No. Honestly, I was just looking for a way to get around Fictionwise's rules and get my books up there. But it's really fallen into place, week after week. We've released three books a week since we opened... and it's all been fly by the seat of my pants, to tell you the truth. I'm still in awe of the way it's sort of fallen like dominoes...

Wait 'til eXcessica starts rakin' in the EPPIES.

Hey, you're making us nervous. :p

I still can't believe I had to convince a certain reluctant-who-became-a-bestselling author to even submit her work to eXcessica in the first place. ;)
