Thought I'd post this here as well as the editor's forum here. The EF doesn't seem to get much traffic, which is part of the problem.
Following on from a thread on here, I wonder how many new writers understand the difference between submitting a story for submission and submitting it to a volunteer editor. Some seem to be despairing of little feedback and giving up without ever submitting it to a VE to get real feedback, far more than a submission editor would ever have time to.
Does anyone else find this, or is everyone else deluged with submissions?
