Vodka or Gin?

Vodka is so smooth. Grey Goose just sort of glides down to your stomach and gives you a nice warm feeling.

But then there's gin. Vodka's dirty sister. Even a smooth gin like Bombay Sapphire is harsh compared to good vodka.

And yet, and yet, the aroma of juniper remains long after the drink is gone. Much like the scent of a woman lasts long after you've gone down on her.

I would say that my vote goes to gin...but like a woman, my vote tends to go to the drink I'm with.

I started my drinking on gin, but of the two my vote would have to go to vodka. Of all, I gotta go with bourbon.

Vodka makes me fall flat on my face. Once I was at a pool party where vodka punch was being served. I didn't even know I'd cut my foot open until I looked down and saw the puddle I was standing in had turned red.

Vodka's absolutely horrible stuff. Tastes disgusting and leaves your body shuddering. However it is by far the quickest way to get drubnk (sic), so drowning it in diesel (coke and orange) works.

Gin cannot be saved by any mixers. Ugh.

A choice of drink would probably be a nice Continental beer, something like a Belgian Stella or a Pelforth.

Either that, or red wine. French by preferance. A Cotes Du Rhone Villages to go with a good steak. Mmmm. That's a nice thought.

Everclear is not a very good friend though. Everclear is only good for poor young people who don't know any better. Everclear pretends to be your friend until it catches you at a weak moment. Then it knocks you over the head, steals your wallet and clothes, molests you while you sleep, and leaves you like that in the bad part of town.

i prefer 151, but only because when i drink i like to get drunk on as few drinks as possible. that and if you're using it to mix the bottle lasts a bit longer. i had a fifth last me for over a year. i don't drink that often.
