A rather interesting personality quiz that was either quite accurate or appealing to my vanity.

There's an example...I picked the only bedroom that even seemed like it had any space for putting my books and games and stuff, but if I had chosen a picture based on the bedroom I'm actually living in, it would have to have been the one with barely anywhere to walk...

...Did anyone take a look at the section that said "How your choices compare with others"?

I put "voting" as my choice for "freedom-- it came in at 2 percent. (But I probably wouldn't have chosen it at all, if it weren't for the recent discussions here)

Well, there's some odd assumptions about the pictures.

For example, when it came to music, I picked the guy on the subway with the ipod headphones. Now to me, this indicates cutting out the noisy world, but the description says, "Listening to your own soundtrack." Which isn't exactly wrong, but that's not the message I got from the guy--if it was, I wouldn't have picked him.

Likewise, I picked the cup-of-tea for relaxing. To the website, this implies a love of simple pleasure, which isn't exactly wrong, but I'm not British. Brewing up a cup of tea is, for me, a little special, not something I do daily. And so it doesn't imply to me "simplicity."

And, of course, there were times when more than one picture appealed to me...and times when none of them appealed (hence the blank, right?). Interesting to read how the site interprets the pictures as compared to how I interpreted them, and thus, why I picked them.

True, of course. But what I always find interesting about these little surveys is how easy it seems to categorize people, and more than that, how easily people accept that categorization.

I think it means you're a wild house cat on a roll while trying to escape . . . .

The only pictures that really jumped out at me were:

the holding hands for freedom...that means so much to us, to be able to walk about freely, wherever we go, holding hands, showing the world who and what we are

the old couple for 'love'....growing old together

the sea/rocks for landscape. No question.

As for the rest........I could have chosen any of each of the categories, and they would have all been relevant.
