Its the area Between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina here in the States. Huge amount of Drug and Technology Companies here since the 60's and steadily growing. Got the name because of the Drug Development Labs and IBM's Development Campuses in the Research Triangle Park, quaintly known as the RTP now. Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, and NC State Universities being close by doesn't hurt them either.
