Last night I was blessed with two virus's on my computer. I went into my outlook express and without thinking clicked on an email. It was called hahaha@sexyfun.net I could not even open it and before I knew it, my avp came up and said I had a virus.
It is called l-worm.hybris.b
Well I was trying to figure this out, I got another alert saying I had another virus. My daughter had been on merc previously and she downloaded loveletter from someone. I believe it is a card.
The virus is called l-worm.loveletter for you htm
I ran my AVP scanner and was only able to clean out the loveletter virus. For some reason I still have the hybris virus. It is not a severe virus, but it is still not good. The only thing it seems to be affecting on my computer is my outlook express. I cannot get into my inmail box anymore.
I phoned my brother and with his help we went through a few things. He is a puter wiz, thank god. For some reason, AVP did not seem to work on this virus. It would not clean out or disinfect.
We also tried housecall an online scanner...
The address is http://housecall.antivirus.com If anyone wants to use it for future reference. For some reason, it showed error in my mail box when it showed the results, so therefore could not scan my outlook. Therefore it said, no virus detected. So, I am still unable to use my outlook express and I still have this virus, hybris.b on my computer. I am not impressed. My brother assures me this virus will not harm my puter but I still feel uncomfortable having it. He will most likely have to redo my c drive to get rid of it.
I just wanted to warn all my Literotica friends...this virus attaches itself to outlook email automatically, so do be careful. Do NOT open anything that says hahaha@sexyfun.com Please...If you do get this mail, chances are, it will automatically attack your address book as well, so again, becareful. If you do get it, warn all your friends in your address book just incase. I don't know why there are such assholes in this world that feel the need to screw up peoples computers. It really sucks. I still cannot believe I got two in one night! Unbelievable.
Anywho, that's it I guess. Just thought I would share what happened to me on the eve of December 20th.
