Virtual Reaality Gender Swap

So another idea about a gender swap that came to me today.

A company has devised a Virtual Reality system where they place you inside pods and give you a virtual reality holiday similar to the Total Recall movie. They even provide you with a whole fantasy based scenario vacation that is filled with sex. You could choose a character or an "Avatar" kind of like design this avatar yourself for the the duration of the simulation.

I was thinking would it be plausible to write the story about a couple who go to this company for a vacation but want their avatars to be the opposite gender. The husband would like to go as the woman and the wife would like to go as the man. Any sex scenarios that happen in the simulation would feel absolutely real to them while they stay in their pods and they retain their memories of their sexy gender swap vacation.

Story could be set in the future or now....

Interesting idea. You could explore the changes to their personalities after the vacation, with the wife being more aggressive (in the sack and elsewhere) and the man being more sensitive.

Or you could make it two straight guys (or ladies) who go for the vacation, with one being the man and the other being the woman. After all, it's not gay; it's just a simulation!

Or maybe a gay or lesbian couple who want to experience heterosexual sex with their partner?

Basic problem with a VR story is that everything happens inside the skull, not exposed in juicy, palpable reality. It's only an induced dream. Yawn.

For mind-swap fun, they must materialize. A couple is sold a VR vacation but they actually exchange consciousness and are plunked into an exotic island resort where frenzied fornication ensues. Wow, what a neat dream! It seems so REAL! Yeah, that's because you really ARE gang-banging Basque albinos.
