After reading this, I had to respond. Speaking as a virgin over the age of 20, my choice has nothing to do with religion or the fact that I won't "put out". My choice has to do with regarding the sexual act as something that should be shared between people who care about each other, not just something that you do because you happen to be horny one day. I have not found that special someone yet, so I remain "intact".

So, don't assume that my kind are all deeply religious and destined to join some convent somewhere. We are sexual beings with sexual needs, believe me, I've got needs, wants and desires, but I've also got the willpower and moral background to wait until I found that right one.

And, on the plus side, I'm pretty sure there is some patient guy out there, somewhere, that is willing to be a guinea pig for me.

I lost my virginity just 1 week before my 20th birthday, and yes, she was a virgin too, but that is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. And yes, I did care about her and still do. the two partners that i have had were both virgins, the sex witht he first one was awful, the second one was great.
