When Leftwingers Attack

We've heard a lot about (but, curiously, have not seen evidence of) "violent right wing anger" in the news the last few days.

Of course, being an Obamacrat means turning off the inconvenient portions of your memory to suit whatever you view as your political objective for that particular time and place. Political violence and vandalism from the left, which was commonplace during the Bush years, was well-known and ignored (or even celebrated as "righteous)." Murder fantasies about killing George W. Bush were vogue. Movies about killing Bush were "edgy" and "provacative." All was well until those damned rightwingurrrrz started, like, disagreeing and protesting and stuff. How dare they speak!

Behold, left wing "nonviolence:"

* It was not the fear of conservative violence that caused Ann Coulter's speech to be canceled this week.

* It was a liberal who bit the finger off a man who disagreed with him on health care.

* It was Obama-loving Amy Bishop who took a gun to work and murdered co-workers.

* Joseph Stack flew his plane into the IRS building after writing an
anti-conservative manifesto.

* It was liberals who destroyed AM radio towers outside of Seattle.

* It's liberals who burn down Hummer dealerships.

* It was progressive SEIU union thugs who beat a black conservative man who spoke his mind.

* It's doubtful that a conservative fired shots into a GOP campaign headquarters.

* In fact, Democrats have no monopoly on having their offices vandalized.

* Don't forget it was Obama's friend Bill Ayers who used terrorism as a tool for political change. SDS is still radical, with arrests in 2007 and the storming of the CATO Institute in July 2008.

* It was a liberal who was sentenced to two years for bringing bombs and riot shields to the Republican National Convention in 2008.

* It was a liberal who threatened to kill a government informant who infiltrated her Austin-based group that planned to bomb the RNC.

* It was liberals who assaulted police in Berkeley.

* It was liberals who intimidated and threw rocks through the windows of researchers.

* The two Black Panthers who stood outside polls intimidating people with nightsticks were probably not right-wingers.

* Every time the G20 gets together, it's not conservatives who destroy property and cause chaos.

Well, apparently, all the victims and potential victims of those attacks and incidents "deserved it" or something. Because, uh, they don't hold "correct" beliefs like Democrats do.

I would also add that transgendered Democrat thug who vandalized a Democrat office in Colorado trying to get the media to pin the blame on "right wingers." And got busted doing so.

So the next time some Obama-gargling wanker starts whining about "the violence" he fears will come to him because of his political posturing, remind him where the real political violence in America comes from and where it has always come from. You can do this by handing him a mirror.

Lets NOT forget all teh calls to KILL BUSH for 8 years

ETC!

“I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us ‘having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,’ and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.”

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

its out of Saul Alinsky's playbook

send your OWN GOONS to infiltrate crowds and make the GOOD guys LOOK bad

It was probably left wingers who threatened Stupak's family with death before the vote as well.

And the alleged verbal abuse of house members and spitting. Crazy strange that in an era of YouTube, not one of these were caught on tape.

Will the WH allow the FBI to report who really vandalized D-Rats property?

It all smoke, part of the plan to deflect attention from the trillion dollar stinker dropped on the US.

MSNBC or the Obama fringe news has been bashing gun permits the last two days. Oddly they took down the poll when 75% of the respondents felt safe around people with permits.

Krugman: It’s cool to hang Lieberman in effigy but don’t you dare ‘target’ Democratic seats
By: John McCormack
Weekly Standard
03/26/10 11:14 AM EDT
The Democratic National Committee emails reporters a lot of stories everyday in an attempt to spin a narrative. The narrative of the week, of course, is the supposedly hateful and violent rhetoric espoused by Obamacare opponents. Paul Krugman’s column today, like most days, can be stitched together from about a dozen DNC emails.

But the most amusing part of Krugman’s column today is his deep concern with the “eliminationist rhetoric” of the GOP:

What has been really striking has been the eliminationist rhetoric of the G.O.P., coming not from some radical fringe but from the party’s leaders. John Boehner, the House minority leader, declared that the passage of health reform was “Armageddon.” The Republican National Committee put out a fund-raising appeal that included a picture of Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House, surrounded by flames, while the committee’s chairman declared that it was time to put Ms. Pelosi on “the firing line.” And Sarah Palin put out a map literally putting Democratic lawmakers in the cross hairs of a rifle sight.

All of this goes far beyond politics as usual. Democrats had a lot of harsh things to say about former President George W. Bush — but you’ll search in vain for anything comparably menacing, anything that even hinted at an appeal to violence, from members of Congress, let alone senior party officials.

This is the same Paul Krugman who wrote in December:

“A message to progressives: By all means, hang Senator Joe Lieberman in effigy.”

But heaven forbid Sarah Palin say she wants to “target” certain Democratic seats. For the sake of the republic, we can only hope that John Boehner and those tea party wingnuts refrain from describing election efforts as a “connected series of military operations forming a distinct phase of a war.”
