I repeat…… in my mind.

Weeks prior to the election and prior to what we are all now enduring…………..

I stated here: Both US Presidential candidates were not worthy of being considered for the job. Why? Quite simply, mediocrity - lack of leadership ability. A couple of rich, spoiled mamma's boys.

I stated here: Other than the possibility of me, writing myself in as a Presidential choice (a defiant joke) - I would not vote - mainly, for the reason listed prior. Our system - has bread - mediocrity. My voting (and as it turns out, everybody else's) would be meaningless and against my principles of ethic, integrity and intellect. I could not, would not participate in a sham. And I did not.

I have stated here: A vote for the lessor of two evils - is still a vote for evil. That evil? Old antiquated ways and mediocrity, spoon fed to the masses from a tired old machine, now running on its last legs.

Many chastised me for these convictions. Many scoffed. Many ridiculed.

But now, after the turn of events we are all very aware of - I feel vindicated. I feel - absolutely - proven to be correct.

Why?

No matter who the winner shall be - he will still be a looser - now won't he? He will be cuffed and muffled and walking on egg-shells, especially for the first part of his Presidential term. A Lame Duck from day one. Day one? Whenever that may be.

Bipartisanism!?! Please! Hah!!!! When they finally come to a decision - watch the "real battle" ensue.

American took a big ole, mediocre, sweet smelling dump - (I thought it was a thing of beauty actually.) - because that's just what was offered up. By "our system."

Yes, you are what you eat.

Yes, you do have to sleep in the bed you make.

MacPresident for all.

And - - - - - most importantly…………..

You heard it all here first - nobody else speaks such as I - I fucking told you so.

Maybe, just maybe - in your mind I'll prove vindicated too.

I'll be accepting apologies, condolences and praise - for, oh, um - the next couple of hours or so………….

What about us typing impaired folks???

Sparky. somewhere in your lifetime you learned to type. You can say so much, so fast while I spend 3 hours typing 10 words. Life just isn't fair. So, what was the question???

I am very gratefull....

When I see progress. And that is just what I see the beginning's of.

It's often best "to fail" - only then is when true progression can begin.

I have no problem with witnessing a dilapidated, dieing system - even if it's the only dilapidated system we have. I enjoy seeing it - stop working.

It's eventually destined to do so anyway. Things don't last forever.

Fact is - I'd rather live out the rest of my short life "in the excitement of rebuilding," than to live it out in continued mediocrity. Blah, blah, blah. It would be so exciting!!!

You say that our system works "good enough" - good enough for what? For you maybe? Not good enough for me. And not good enough for the many, many people if fails. It won't ever work good enough for me until I see swift, obvious balance - until I witness a major exodus of rich white dudes. And the sooner the better.

And as long as they are the guys in control - total failure and rebuild - is American's only hope.

Mavis Bacon's Typing Tutorial for the Typing Impaired available all over in stores today. Get your copy, and soon, you too, will by typing as prolifically as Sparky Concrete.

Vindicated? Okay. It's just easier to validate, they have stamps for that.

I hate to inform you, but.....

If you think our current day politicians are more qualified than my rather large (read cross section of America) parliament - you've been duped. You probably want to be one - problem right there - nobody in their "right mind" wants to be a politicain. Only those of wrong mind would aspire toward that profession - just ask Blue. And that's the basic nature of the problem - there's a bunch of sick fucks in office.

Granted - they are held (in theory) more accountable than my parliament would be - however - the mere logic of math and the size of my parliament - would negate that necessity.

In my system you see - if fuck-ups occured - the masses would have concurred and the "fuck-up?"

Well - it would be an "honest" fuck-up.....

Now wouldn't it?

My CB - you're sounding.....

Pretty snobbish - elitist even - isn't that how, traditionally speaking, our politician's think, feel and even speak (but only when behind closed doors)? Haven't they (our elected officials) pulled the wool over "our" lowly, uneducated lives - since the beginning?

Tell me, you actually "don't think" that a "Parliament of the people" - 365 strong, with new and fresh perspective in (a new draftee) and a year's worth of wisdom out (the senior draftee) - every day of the year - that would not be completely balanced? You (you, yourself as a possible draftee) would actually mind - take umbrage to - a "janitor let's say, or a house wife," sitting next to you, and Oh My God(!) voting on legislature - on such a Parliamentary Panel?

Please. A bit hoyty-toyty - don't you think? Better break out your yachting outfit and race to the polo matches.

I hope you never represent me as a politician.

I would much prefer a cross section of the people governing me - than anyone like you.

Yes of course I did.....

But my response pretty much umbrella's your entire reply - if you really "think" about it.

For instance: Those Juliard kids? They or their equivalent would be well represented across my Parliament. Just as much representation as they would need for a "fair" vote.

Lobbyist? Again you are thinking within a box of your own making on this. The Lobbyists, that you speak of, is formed by your current definition. I my government they (the old guard, the lobbyist) could carry over, sure. However, many other, former, trained, experienced politico's - Senator's, Congressmen, Military men, Whips - you name it - they could be lobbyists all - in the broader (much more modern?) sense of the term.

And - There are no "officers" - or even offices (to really speak of) in my government. No real mention-able perks either. Simply compensation for ones service to ones country. No leather furniture. No shelves with law books. No blow-jobs under desks. No limos. All that stuff is - guess where? Where will it be. In the lobbyists offices!!!! A far way away from my pure and untainted Parliament.

And - Most politicians only pretend to know what they are doing. Yes, some do know the ins and outs of our current governmental system - sure. In fact, that is really what "politics" is all about - behind the sense wheeling and dealing - avarice and bribery. All that stuff would still exist - again - in the Lobbyist's offices. But I say - let them have at it. Why? Because in the end - the People's Vote would be pure, untainted (as much as possible) by - the sharks that make up our political system of today.

Why would the People's Vote be so pure? Because it would "actually be" - the people's vote. The people's cross section, their representatives, their honored, Parliamentary draftees - people just like them - would be voting on the laws of their land. Not some mentally twisted egotists, driven by God knows what kind of parental dysfunctional upbringing - to "positions of power." Some sick shit I tell ya.

[Ya know - have you seen that famous photo of Bill Clinton shaking hands with JFK? Willie's in a group of young lions - (I forget the name of the organization - it's meaningless to me.) - and you can see - the fucking gleam in his eye. What a sick fucking perverted thing. Billy boy knew, right then, before then (this was just icing on the cake) what he wanted to be - a "powerful man." And the most powerful man in the world is the US Prez. Nobody "normal" wants that!!!!!!]

But in my system - all those old political ins and outs - would be done away with.

And - Ya know - shit happens - careers change - lives change - factory's close - people loose their jobs - a lot of really good hard working people go through a lot of shit and never, ever once, have a greedy thought in their heads. I don't hear you voice any concern for them. It's only future politico's like yourself, spending daddy's money, on what I believe is an inane and doomed dream think more of themselves and their education. You think I care any more or less for them than I do about anybody else - just cause "they've studied and worked hard?"

Hah!!!! Tell it to the workers. Tell it to the farmers. Tell it to all the hardworking folks! Who would all have some modicum of a voice in my Parliament. Much, much, much - better'n what they have now.

Excellent CB....

I knew you cared about other's just wanted you to come right out and say it.

And you are very, very smart - I just told you the other day - probably the smartest, at the youngest, I've ever communicated with.

And - I never think anyone is stupid - I do think many are non-thinking, mis-informed or complacently ignorant. You are none of those.

And as far as a Perfect World - yes, that's just what I'm after - shouldn't all politician's, all people be for that?

As far as Janitor's.....

Been one, liked it. Moved furniture for 6 years, liked that too. Delivered groceries to medical shut-ins for a year, liked that too. Pumped gas/worked as a mechanic - liked it. What else? Military, value the great experience - but not a career. Worked as a stock boy in a drug store - okay. First job at one of the very first McD's in the country. Hated it. Truck driver. Short order cook. Lawn maintenence. School bus driver.

I would suggest such an education - for all.

sparky you're the man, i love people like you, or i should say us, the problem is people who don't have our kind of personalities :)

Mon Dieu

Let's just thank our lucky stars that the real power is where is it and not in Sparky's hands.

I agree that there are problems with our government but the way it is setup is the best we can hope for. There is no perfect system and there will never be one.

And what exactly is "a year's worth of wisdom" going to accomplish. I know many redneck people who are so stuck in their ways that they wouldn't gain wisdom in a HUNDRED years. And they are the people you propose to govern us? I'm sorry but CB isn't the only one who has problems with this theory.

PO

Huh????

I'm not crazy - but apparently everyone else might be.

As for "limit's on hope" - "that's the best we can hope for" - utter bullshit!!!! That - is the complacency I speak of.

And as for people changing their minds - how hard it may be for some - maybe - but I'm a bit of an optimist. Besides the "intellectual poop" in my Parliament would provide for near total - as total as possible - balance. The right wing or left wing curmudgeons would be balanced out.

As for me running the country - bullshit too - I have no inclination for such - you'd know that if you really read my shit. I do have the ego for it - but not the patience.
