Much as I like redheads, I'm glad she's half a world away.

Wow. That story reads as like some cheesy night time drama. You could put that on tv and everyone would say, "not real original, but it's fun..."

Talk about a ready made plot bunny. And so many fun directions it could go....

Actually the one about buying girls sounds good. Especially if you can pair it up with a sufficiently sympathetic villain.

I'm easily seeing some guy buying a girl, I remember hearing something similar to this somewhere, about a guy who buys girls from a third world nation like that. Per the rules of Lit they were purchased at age 18, in the story I heard I don't remember that being the case but anyway at age 21 they are set free because they are old but they are in America/Canada/Europe and the guy, monster that he is, still thinks of himself as a good person because you're better off as a homeless American Woman than a woman in country X.

You can still of course stab the guy in the end but yeah.
