Viewing avatars

I wonder if anyone can help?

When I open a thread, prior to logging in, I can see the avatars of the posters (mine included). However when I log in I only see the usernames not the avatars!

Is this a settings issue or perhaps a bandwidth one?

When logged in, go to the User CP and choose edit options from the column on the left side of the screen. In the third section, you should find a way to show avatars. Hope this helps.
